Found this thread during research. I purchased the integra wires (88' / Borg Warner) for my ZC (also an 88', I believe). They looked similar, especially in length, but the top of the boot would not sit snugly on the valve cover. I hacked a little of the rubber off and it still wouldn't fit. Then I took a bic pen and dropped it down the boot of the red sumitomo wires that came with the engine and marked it. I stuck the pen in an un-hacked 88' integra wire and the mark was about a half inch out of the boot. The metal connector at the spark plug is longer on the integra wire (despite identical "rubber" boot length). I hacked about a half inch of the metal connector and rubber off and the boot fit snugly. This may be poor design by borg warner, or my ZC is older. I'm not sure, but the 86-89 integra wires didn't fit my engine and I am trying to figure out which wires will (and how to return the ones that I hacked...). I am going to try 93' integra and 91' civic respectively. Bastard d-block twin cam. Any help on this topic would be much appreciated.

Re: dohc zc plug wires same as.......

Retraction. Boot still did not seat properly, not "tapered" to ZC valve cover and butted up against it, leaving boot a half inch above the cover. Still confused.

The NGK's that i got actually to sit off the valve over a few mm. Really, only two of them do, the other two sit flush. Im not too worried about it though, I know its getting good spark, it just doesnt fit absolutely perfect.

Re: dohc zc plug wires same as.......

unique head I suppose. Nobody likes gap in the boot. Another benefit of D block DOHC........just like the oil cooler by the filter.........

Re: dohc zc plug wires same as.......

(possibly not unique to honda blocks --->) and the British Pipe Thread fitting (not NPT) out of the back of the block for the T-Fitting for oil pressure gauge hook up (unless I'm a complete idiot, which is definitely possible).............
