Mustang98-Rotors

I've been messing with cars since I was a teenager. I need new rotors and brakes. I've been told by many, that this is something I COULD do myself if I have even a little knowledge. SO guy and gals... What do ya think? Should I try it on my own? 1998 3.8...

Well Andy!! I'd love a walk thru. I am putting a new chain on my harley, so I'm sure I'll break a nail LOL So I guess this means I'm ready to dive into my rotors and brakes on the stang. Where do I start!!!

Re: Mustang98-Rotors

Ok... *flips hair* How do I do that GTStang?

JUST KIDDING, I'm actually looking forward to doing this!! Not thinking I need step by step, but you know how when you're doing something, those little irritating things that would be helpful to someone else in making it a non stressful brake job??? And this would be my first rotor and brake job. I'm not at all afraid to do it. Heck, if all else fails I'll just go out front and yell real loud and a man is sure to come to my rescue LOL But, Haven't had to do that in several years. I do OK for a GIRL!

It was more a Rhetorical Where do I start!

I think...

is just me or is when ever a female needs help you get a ton of 'car guys' that really spend way to much time on the computer jumping on it like a horney monkey? ahh.. good times.

anyway, brake work is easy, just make sure when your done to test everything. then again, going down the freeway with no brakes is a great way to wake up in the morning..
