What colors are good for Spoon race cars?

Hey all,

I'd like to know what colors are appropriate for the yellow/aqua Spoon race cars. All or most of their race cars use the same colors, I'm wondering what I should use to replicate the colors.

Thanks,

Phil

think it's more of a baby-blue than aqua... maybe even sky-blue

Thanks Joe! I actually found the pic in my post on a different website, and Spoonman has the same one in his thread!

Re: What colors are good for Spoon race cars?

I had some TS-44 Brill Blue and TS-47 Chrome Yellow coming in the mail before the Fedex man stole my package a couple months ago. From what I can tell, in photos of the cars and color swatches for Tamiya paints, these are the closest in my opinion. Other opinions may differ, and without being able to compare actualy swatches to the actual cars... we'll never know unless someone has the paint codes for the Spoon cars and can source us some of the genuine product....

The photo you posted there is light, the cars have a more saturated hue according to the majority of sources I've seen. Do a Google search, you'll find the real Spoon site.

The colors I used are Tamiya Light Blue and Chrome Yellow. I don't know if it's accurate, but it looks close enough. Hope this helps.
