Little Unknown Plug

While fixing a blown fuse, I noticed a little red plug that is not plugged into anything, but is taped to the harness. I think it has maybe 8 holes but I'm not quite sure. It's located at the bottom of the wiring harness, near the hood switch. Just for curiosity, does anybody know what this plugs is supposed to plug up too?

It's probably for an option you don't have, like maybe sunroof, cruise control, power locks/windows, etc...

You sometimes come accross that, wires being in places where something should be at, but your car doesn't have the option, so it's just left there.
