When I got my car, the driver side power lock would unlock fine but it had trouble locking. You would have to press it a few times or unlock and then lock in order for it to work. The problem became progressively worse and now it doesnt lock at all. The passenger side switch works fine. I'm going to have a look inside the switch box but I was wondering if anyone else encountered this before.

Re: 92 GP LE 3.1 Power lock died
check the connection at the switch might be a loose connector sometimes you can bend them a little to tighten things up. switch could also be burt out

Re: Re: 92 GP LE 3.1 Power lock died
The contacts were oxidized so I cleaned 'em off with a bit of sandpaper and the switch worked. Problem solved ... but ... as soon I installed the switch back into the door and tested it out, all the interior and underhood lights went out. S***! I'm going to check the fuses tomorrow.

Before the fuses check no cables are overlapping, this could cause fuses to go north.
