progress: JGTC Loctite R34 with engine.

After alot of research, I finally started to build the model I always want; The JGTC R34 with the RB engine.

I scratch build the engine with putty because it only has the valve cover on the engine. Not the engine cover like the R32 so I cann't use the R32 engine part. All the black "tube" above the engine are some chasis supports, suspension rod and tow ring support assembly. All the small detail parts are not on yet but working on it.

All I can say is good luck. I wouldn't know where to begin, but like all of your Skyline models, I'm sure this one will turn out spectacular. Looking forward to more progress.

Re: Re: progress: JGTC Loctite R34 with engine.

That is super awesome. That is going to be on the top of my anticipated models list now. I'm really looking forward to seeing this one built and to see how it comes along.

I am going to (try to) put an engine in the Pennzoil Skyline. I've got some pictures of the motor, but not enough to really go on. I don't want to be one of those people who is all "now that you've done the hard stuff, give the fruits of your labor" so all I ask is, could you please point me in the right direction to find photos and or drawings of the cars and engines? Ex. are there any books out there that make for good reference?

Did you set up a new account, Yvon? You could have, and still can, just ask Igor, our fearless leader, for your old name to be changed
