how to remove trim piece

im getting ready to paint my car. I need to remove the trim piece attached to the rear of the door. I think only 90-91 civics with seatbelts in the door have this trim piece. anyways i was getting ready to pry at it and hope its just clips holding it there, but i want to make sure im not going to bust it.

There is a nut on the inside of door & clips holding the piece on.
