88 S10 Blazer 4.3L No Fuel
I just replaced a 4.3L longblock in an S10 Blazer do to rod knocking, I got everything back together and it won't start. I used the intake and TBI and all sensors from the previous running motor. Issue is I'm not getting fuel out of the injectors. If I prime the TBI with a little it will start and run for 5 - 10 secs. I cracked open the fuel lines and the fuel is pumping through when the key is turned on. I'm not getting a pulse signal at the injectors is my issue. If I ground the signal side of the injector it floods the bowl asap do to full open injector. Only change in wiring is I broke the 4-wire connector on the distributor when pulling the old motor, so I spent $40 at the dealer for an AC-Delco pigtail and replaced. I've double/triple checked (A.B.C.D) to confirm correct. Just can't figure out why I'm not getting the injector pulse unless the ECM died while the engine was out??
Thanks for any ideas that may help.. |

Yes, 1-ground (braided) strap from firewall and 1-bulkhead harness to left rear cyl head, 1-ground wire attached to stud on thermostat housing.

No injector fuses.. I checked both ECM fuses and the crank fuse.. Actually I tested all fuses and they are all good..
