Hey i was wondering if any of you have this same problem with their AA Sp S2000. Well my doors just swing open and won't close. I have a AA Skyline and the doors stay shut just fine. Does anyone have any ideas what to do, should i write AA or the honda dealer (since it is exclusive). Also i seen pics of AA's Skyline and the windows on the doors are gone but on mine i have windows. do they come off or what??????. AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. P.S I have two AA Sp S2000's one in the box and one for display

AA Skyline
Every AA R34 Skyline I've seen, including mine, did/does not have side windows.

To answer your questions Prelude. My skyline R34 VSPEC has windows on it but the VSPEC II might not. The door won't shut because of the wire inside. This happened actually to my skyline. If you look inside the hinge you'll see the wire is probably not in the right place compared to the other one. You're going to have to take the car apart (carefully!) and bend the wire back into place. This may take some time and a few tries to get it to work. Use the working side as a reference. |

Re: .
If you have problems, take images and I can help you fix it. Most likely you'll need to remove the wire (the one in the Skyline is a single wire, coiled in two places, held down by two screws) and bend it back in place.
Get some vice-grips if you can or pliers will do to bend the wire back. Make sure it will both keep the door in place when its closed and also not to slip out of position when opened again. |
