t25 vs. to4e

ok, i've done my research and i know that a smaller turbo will give you a quicker spool than a larger turbo, but the larger turbo will give you the option to run a higher boost than a smaller turbo. my question is this, lets say that the t25 turbo produces an extra 50 whp @ 7 psi. will the to4e turbo also produce that same 50 whp @ 7 psi on the same engine, or will it produce more? would it all depend on the engine (i.e. on a smaller engine would it produce the same but on a larger engine it would produce more)? any help would be greatly appreciated because it would really save me some money.

Re: t25 vs. to4e

Depends on the motor. A T25 is really small turbo, its kinda hard to compare a T25 to a T4. Night and day difference...

Re: Re: t25 vs. to4e

yea it is hard to compare a t-25 and a t04e, but i would say that it will make a little more hp at the same psi on the same motor.

I would say it would make quite a bit more hp on the same engine. A t04e is a lot bigger turbo, so it will be forcing a lot more air into the engine at the same psi.

Re: t25 vs. to4e

At different RPMs it will make a big difference(T4E). That T25 would be done and over when the T4 really boosts up. A good Comp map would tell us perfectly what the difference would be.....Im just lazy today and dont want to look.
