need to know what it would cost for a h23a motor...
it is lakemountludes, he is gonna post the specs...
good price for it would be???
and i need n idea as to how hard it is to put one in a 3gen, if it comes with ecu etc....

so.... what is a good price, and what would it involve to adapt it to my si tranny (89 si) and how hard would it be to interface with the comp???

thanks

Thumbs up Buy

I have that done to my car.. I run mid 14's with I/H/E and ecu.. it's pretty damn fast becuase our cars are so light... the install was pretty easy to I mean I didn't do it but it wasn't that bad and with all the new stuff he's added on to it, it seems worth it.

one of my good friends did the same thing to his lude and he told me it was fairly simple install and a good price would be around 1400 in good condition.. its a nice lil motor - almost makes me want to get a prelude

i just need to know how hard the install is...
like will i lose anything (ac, power steering)
or will it just drop in...
do i have to modify alot of stuff???
that is what i m needin to know???
i dont doubt anyone, i just need to make sure that it is an easily feasible install...

thanks though

to me it was a very feasible install.... no no no AC and everything stays.. i am in a prelude club and there are two 4th gens of which are hybrids, one with an h23 and 1 with a b16 (civic motor) and the h23 was running a 14.6 which isnt too bad, the other hybrid i think was running a 15.6 or something like that.. hope i could help let me know if ya need to know anything else, i might even be able to hook you up with my friend who has had it done

I say definately go for the h23 asap as long as he changed his timing belts.. even if he didnt you can always do it but hell make him do it and its cheaper.. i think when i talked to him tho he told me he changed the belts and the pumps so you are in perfect shape.. and the mileage is fine, actually better than good cause that is wayyyy below average for a 94 lude! when you get it (if you do) tell me how ya like it!
