Front Windshield

I just gotta vent about what happened to me over the Christmas break. So, my dad decides that he is going to replace my front windshield for me as a Christmas present seeing as it has a huge crack in it. We take it to a shop that he goes to all the time to get it done. He has never had a problem with them before. Anyhow, when we get the car back, there is broken glass inside and outside the car, there is rubber sealent around the edges of the glass, he broke the clips on the underside of the side rubber weather stripping, the bottom plastic cowl is about 1/4 of an inch away from the glass b/c of all the sealant he used, and to top it off the plastic piece that sits b/t the vinyl dash and glass is all cracked. Needless to say i was pissed. I mean my car is my baby (i think i care about it a little too much, but hey). So we tell the guy about the horrible job he did and pointed out all the mistakes. I mean, i would never even let a car leave my shop looking like that. I could even notice it from a distance. Anyhow, now i am without a car for two weeks, cause he has to order parts from Honda to fix his mistakes. It's stuff like that that make me and others worry when they drop there car off at a shop to get work done. I feel like i gotta be there and watch em do it now.
