2001 Jetta Auto working on 3rd Tranny..
Can anyone offer some insight to this problem. I had the tranny replaced at 36K miles. Then at 39K I had a problem again, went to a different dealer and was told the mount bolt was installed wrong - but lasted 3K miles?? Today on the way to work - I was at a red light - put my foot on the gas and it bucked like *!@ and now I have no power - it sounds like grinding metal. I hope it will make it to the dealer tonight. I don't want to be "treated like a girl" when I get there. My dad worked on VWs his entire life, so I bought one, and it has not been a fun ride so far.
Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. Kelly |
