I have a 95 s 10 i wanted to do some interior upgrade i went from a bench seat with no carpet to leather buckets and carpet.On my next adventure i tore the dash out of my truck and was going to buy a 98 dash but i am not sure if it will fit??? if so what needs to be changed and how hard will it be?? Will someone help

You will need to fab the mounts for the dash to start... Then you will need both shop manuals for both years due to the wiring involved...

the problem im having is getting it to go back far enough. (towards the windshield). I can get it to go in but it will not go back far enough There is a 2" gap in the front. Most of my plugins are the same. It seems like it is hittting something?? i removed all the heater stuff(heater core and all the duct work)

Did you remove all the old mounts and bracketry?? Also while a lot of the plugs look the same and may even fit, a lot of them won't function as needed without rewiring (I've helped people do this before, it's such a pain in the ass that's why I won't do it myself)
