Tamiya 1/20 Leyton House CG901B - *FINISHED*
Its been a while since I've been on here, I took a break from car kits, trying to get my pile of aircraft models down a little.
Anyway this is a kit I've had for ages and one I started months ago so thought its about time I finished this kit. The CG901B is a bit of an old kit and I bought 2 of these years ago. The kit is typical of Tamiya's 1/20 F1 kits. I've used TS41 coral blue and TS35 Park green as the main body colours, opting as usual not to use the green decals but to spray the green instead. I'll be appying the decals later so I'll post more pics after I've applied them. Thanks for looking.

OH LEYTON HOUSE
It looks sweet dude, can't imagine how hot it will look when its complete. I'm following the same approach with my MP4/8, using TS36 flourescent red rather than applying the red decals. I've always wanted this kit, but its rare as hell now. Keep up the good work!! Last edited by Zurbert82; 09-18-2003 at 12:54 AM. |

Looking great!!!! Are you using the Coral Blue straight or mixing it? The color looks like a good match. I hand mixed the color along time ago for a L.H. Porsche 962.
Keep up the good work and lots of pictures please.. |

Good luck with your progress, looks excellent so far.
Great car, Adrian Newey packed enough new ideas into it to keep his F1 competitors on their toes for the next 3 years. |

Decals are on, leaving a few days then will clearcoat it all. Meanwhile I'll put the rest of it together. Shouldn't be too long now (I hope).
WRX-15 - I'm using the Coral Blue unmixed, I really like this colour, went on really well.

That looks good man. I don't think that I have the skills to build and F1 car just yet.
