some opinions please

ok i have a 1990 civic std 4sped and i was going to do the dpfi to mpfi and after that i was thinking about doing the mini me swap now is that a good thing to do or is it bad i have heard good and bad things about it i just thought id ask you all before i went and did anything stupid its a cheap budget thing i know but it sounds fun and cool at the same time i will also get an si tranny to install instead of the 4 speed

which mini me swap are you talkin about, if oyur on a tight budget i would say a d16 block with d15 head would be alright but like anyone else on here would just go ahead and do a zc swap or save up a little bit and do a JDM b16 swap

i want to use my block i have a d15 block and use either the d16z6 or the d16y8 head which do you think is better

well i really suggest saving for a b18 or another motor but i would get a d15b7 head and throw a a6 cam in it. just save your money man buy an ls or something you'll be much happier

I'd personally just spend the money on the complete D16Z6.. I mean, its going to be <$500 all together, and you don't have to mess around with mis-matching parts.
