Help with a new Fiero

Hey guys, I just inherited a 1987 Fiero GT. I don’t think that it’s been driven for quite a while, four or more years I would guess. Anyways, I put a new battery in it and poured a few gallons of gas in it, but it won’t start. It sounds like it’s trying to but can’t. I’m not very mechanically inclined, but it sounds like it just needs a kick in the ass, lol. What should I do?

Check the plugs, coil, and wires for spark. If that doesn't do it, check the fuel injectors, and pump. Also replace the fuel filter

I’m sorry, I should have stated that it’s an automatic.

And, I don’t have a clue how to due anything that you mentioned… I said that I have no mechanical experience at all, it was difficult enough to change the battery, lol.

Oh well

I guess I’ll sell it. If anyone is interested email me. It is a nice looking car, but I already have to many. It was very well maintained before it was stored and has been in the family since 1990.

Here is what I know:

77,000 miles
Blue GT
Automatic
Power everything
Upgraded Pioneer CD player
Alarm
New Tires and Battery
Tinted Windows
