1 minute idle before shutting off turbo
I know it used to be that you had to idle your engine for 1 minute before you shut off the motor if you have a turbo. Is that still the case?
I know many new cars that come turbo stock have automatic idlers, but what about people with bolt on turbo kits? In particular, the Edelbrock turbo kit for the 6th gen civic... |

you buy a turbo timer, like ones made by Apexi or greddy, it allows you to shut off the carm while still running the turbo for a designated period of time

Yep, turbo timers are the way to go. they are pretty cool. By the way, I think the idle time is usually about 2 minutes!
