Non specific Forced Induction category

I think that under "Cars in General" there should be a non specific Forced Induction/N2O category, as this site stands now, in order to talk about forced induction one must stray into a foriegn category. If someone wants to turbocharge a Neon (for example) and needs advice, there is no Neon forced induction category. In my opinion, many people do not post about the subject as they do not want to stray into the Honda forum, or another forum containing a forced induction category. I think AF's users could benifit from a non specific forced induction category.

Does anyone read these things? Or is it like the suggestion box at my old job...I ended up suggesting it right into the garbage because we never read it.

In all honesty I would like a similar "general tech section" for cars besides Honda/Acura.

I agree, but that is kind of what the engineering and technical section is all about. Does Igor ever read this stuff?

i think itz more so in the honda/acura forum b/c that's where a lot of people go and that's where people have a wealth of info.....i don't think we need a forum for NA and FI...i think it should be in a specific car forum

Thats all fine and dandy for you because you have a Honda, what if someone with (for example) a Neon wants to turbocharge it. Where does he go? We don't have a Dodge FI forum, should they go to the Honda forum? Besides, surely the turbocharger deserves its own forum, as the concepts behind it are far more complicated than any nitrous kit. The principles behind forced induction are universal for all turbochargers and vehicles, so why isn't the forum? We have a Cars in General forum.
