Finished Pics of the Impreza WRX STi

Finally finished my second car model even though I realized near the end of completion that bugeyed subbies were indeed ugly. Anyways, this is the 1/24 Tamiya curbside kit.

It was built box stock, and primed with Krylon white sandable primer. The primer was wetsanded with 1000 and 2000 grit, washed, and dried. 2 light mist coats of Tamiya Chrome Yellow (TS-47) were next laid down over a period of 20 mins. 2 wet coats were then sprayed on in the following 40 minutes. Paint was then polished and waxed.

Enough talking, on with the pics!

looks great but I think the mirrors should be the same body color and not black. Will look even better

Well, only my second car model, I've built some other stuff too. Anyways this car had to be stripped 6 times, undergoing 3 color changes until I learned how to paint without making a mess.

Very nice indeed. Perfect paint and rim choice and a very clean build. You have also taken excellent photos to top it off. Well done, hope to see more of your work in the future.
