Cheers.

If you sit and read the artical as scanned or what ever it was flawed through out. I wonder if it was photochopped or what. If it wasn't the editors for that mag should be told the the bloody truth about the previous models R32, R33, and R34.

Still don't like it as it looks like a bloody 350Z and should carry its own image.

He's right. Don't believe anything untill you see it with your own eyes. Most of this stuff is for marketing and to "scare" competitors. I seriously hope the car does not look like that. The front is plain nasty.

Well I stopped in the petrol station on the way to work and picked up the magazine. I missed something when I viewed it online. Notice the fine print I've circled just off the front bumper.
I'm going to write in to these clowns and give them a real rockup.

Should any of you want to do the same, I will not view it in a bad way either. Heck I encourage you hahah

http://carpoint.ninemsn.com.au/wheels/homepage.asp appears to be their homepage

http://www.wheels.magshop.com.au is another address

The more I read this magazine the more I had to laugh. Half of what they appear to write is conjecture and not even close to real numbers and truths. And I thought toilet mags such as the star bla bla were bad. These guys need to get a grip on reality.

I'd write to them but I'm just glad the car wont actually look like that.

EDIT: Actually, take a look at the second picture...

"R35 computer generation based on info from moles within Nissan's Atsugi R&D centre. Front end sees biggest revisions from 2001 GT-R concept (below), but quad tail-lights certain to remain in one for or other."

I stopped reading the article when they said something along the lines of the car complying with the stupid 280bhp agreement, which, if they do, is dumb.

I still consider the R32 GT-R to be the first GT-R and the R34 the last Skyline and last GT-R.

Nissan have screwed up the Skyline and GT-R name.

Angry Newest Skyline phots and info

I can't believe the damage that Nissan is doing to the sacred Skyline GT-R name...The latest pic looks like a damn Prelude got banged by an R32 and this is the love child...I'm tired of these stupid computer-generated pics...At least the pics of Toyota's new Supra is crap too...

Not only is that picture fake but, if memory serves me correctly, it was the exact same picture displayed about 4 months ago (at least) at:

http://zerotohundred.com/projectv35gtr/index.htm

whose rendition of the gtr was claimed to have no input from Nissan. Moles my ass .

Unfortunately, the link doesn't exist anymore so i guess there is no way to prove it . Oh well, just wait for the Tokyo Motor Show in October for a definitive answer.

Yes, we all know that this is the new skyline...but it is not the GT-R, which is what this thread was about.
