Thoughts on this kit.......

I just picked this up from ebay, a kit I built from my youth at 16. I've been wanting it again and got a good deal on ebay, about $13 shipped.
The Revell Mercedes Benz 190E 1/24.
I was curious if anyone has built this particular kit. I don't remember much about mine just that it was on Miami Vice t.v. show and it looked damn good.
Thanks!
Chris

looks like it would be a very nice and clean kit to do. Go for it

Has anyone built this kit? I know it is a discontinued kit, but I thought someone here might have built it.
Thanks
Chris

Geeze! give us a few minutes!

I've built this one. It is very simple...Old school Motorized Fujimi kit...Poor chassis detail, rather flat interior side panels, wheels look small, hood star is way thick (sand it down from both sides) grill bars are shot on this mold (same as the picture on the box).
I did a lot of little mods on mine... Swapped the wheels from a 300sl, added wood trim inside, some work on the grill, polished aluminum exhaust tips (replaced the pipe in the kit).
LMK if you need more info...

I´m still working on it and hope to get it finished soon!

But as @Ferrari TR just said: poor detail

I have the Fujimi-released version of this car and have a set of AMG wheels going on it; Ferrari TR has described it perfectly.

Well, then $12.45 shipped isn't so bad. I was easier to please when I was younger. Boy how times change.
I am still loooking forward to it. If I do need more info I will certainly let one of you know through a PM.
Thanks!!
