Alternator, Battery, Starter??? which is going wrong

ok well i woke up this morning to my father calling my room phone wanting me to come eat brekfast at his house so whalaa the morning begins i hop in my car spend 3 or 4 hours at my dads then i say its time to leave so i do the family goodbyes walk out to start my car and NOTHING...it didn't even crank...but my power to the car still works. i can open and close my sun roof my lights all fine....but it doesnt start. NOW, i remember on my way to my fathers my stereo was turning off after i put it higher that 20 on my deck(usually i goto 35 or so)...although i didnt think anything of it at the time sence i did the install myself.

HERES more info needed to provide hypothesis. the other my friend was trying my car to taco bell where he was treating me to a meal. and when we came back out it died so we called a friend hadh im pick us up. came back 4 or 5 hours later and it started (BARELY) so we get it to my friend kyles house who've i've known basically sence i was born so everything was cool with letting my car be broke down there/ well his dad came out waisted all too hell and sence his son kyle isnt big into cars like us he was WAY UP to help me with mine. he busted out his battery charger, box of oil, air compressor all out into his drive way tuning up my car. anyway his dad let my car sit for about an hour or 2 and it was cranking like a moefuckin charm, ran fine the next day(yesterday), than the story about what happend today.

any way that second paragraph sort of conclude my theory to be the battery yet i JUST replaced it not but 6 months ago....anyway i thought alternator the last time battery died, took it out had it tested and the alternator was fine, so i purchased a battery from then on its been fine....HELP

check ur main relay....and all ur vaccuum hoses....

id say its your main relay, not your battery since all your lights and shit still work.

also does the main relay cause your stereo system to go out???? i dont understand what the main relay is for?? just to start?

Main relay, turns your fuel pump on and off. If it gets hot like from sitting in the sun the contacts inside will will expand with the heat and not make a complete circuit. Its under the dash, almost right behind the coin tray on left side of the dash. They are easy to replace and pretty easy to fix if you have any soldering skills. I should make a how-to on how to fix them..hehehehe

My car will crank but won't start. I wait like 2 min. and It will fire right up. Could this be my main relay? I have happend twice in the last 2 weeks.
