Boost on a 1995 Tsi

I was wondering how much boost would be safe to run on the stock T-25 turbo for a 1995 talon Tsi. Also i was thinking about buying this Talon http://www.autotrader.com/findacar/v...or=&cardist=55

What do you guys think of it?

hey just to let u know, first off, that T25 has got to go, wat u do is take that off and throw in the Big 16g which is alot more efficient and powerful, and the cheapest way to start off. also, if u want i have a '95 tsi with just 64k miles on it all original and pampered, if u want to buy.

T-25 and lag? I dont think so, there is pretty much no lag to the T-25.

Get a 14B from a 1G, it is a cheap and a good upgrade to the T-25

Anything over 16 psi on a T25 (pump gas) gets slower typcally. Stock boost is over 14. 14b is a great turbo. I ran mine at 18 psi (be sure to get the necessary mods to do that) and 24 psi on race gas. I did mid 12s on mine, others have done better. Unless you want to go bigger right out of the gate, but make sure the car is properly setup. 14b is a great turbo to learn how to tune on.
