Axle Bind
ok well i just purchased another hatch...this one came w/ a b16 in it but needed some work. A new tranny so i did that this past weekend and its working pretty good. but when ever i make a right hand turn it vibrates. i talk to the kid i bought the car off of and he said its axle bind. he said there is no way to stop it on the 4th gens. he said it has i think 91 integra axles. so im not sure if that has sumething to do w/ it or whats up. ive ridin in a hatch a b16a and it didnt do it so im just wondering what it is. thanks for any help

if he used the wrong axels it will not work properly... also if he used an inproper half shaft this will happen as well.
the Y1 transmission came with a Slightly longer half shaft than the YS1 A1 or S1. My setup is a S1 tranny with an A1 Half shaft and 90-91 axels work fine. now depending ont he transmission he has this may not work... check the HASport website for the Lowdown on Axels. www.hasport.com Kun

it had a y1 tranny it but when it blew the kid gave a 91 integra trans w/ it so i just threw it in until i get a new y1. so could the trans be the problem? he said it did it before w/ the y1.

no the tranny is not the problem the half shaft is go buy a 90-93 teg half shaft and pop it in... this should fix your problem.
chanses are you are using a Y1 half chaft that is a little longer than the regular Teg one.
