plug wires for detail questions
Searched and saw it recommended to use 30 gauge wire from radio shack, but how to attach to distrib/engine? Any tips??
Thanks. |

You will need to buy a pin-vise and small drill so you can drill holes in the heads/dist.
Or you can buy pre-wired ones already done.

Also you will need super glue to atach the cables. It is a good idea to subscribe to recieve a speed shop catalog like summit or Jegs to have reference where the cables go.
Also it make the wiring more realistic if you follow the firing order of the particular engine you are building.

The Camaro in the pic has HEI ignition and therefore only has 8 wires. So he's excused, for now. Don't show us a non-GM V8 without a coil wire.

I use wire that i bought at a arts/craft store made in a variety of colors. I get 40 yards for $2.00 USD.
