i got 4-1 on mines... i would rather have the torque on the high end instead of the low end... i work with my high end mor than my low end.. but thats just me

Re: whitch gets more hp for headers, 4-2-1 or 4-1?

yah, it's all a matter of preference. 4-2-1 gives more HP and torque where the Civic really needs it, but this is only good for when you launch or need to pass someone when you are in low rpm. I would get a 4-1 header if you like to drag. It would put the power where you'll use it the most.

sorry if this is somewhat off topic, but which would be better, a ceramic or stainless steel header? i heard ceramic cuz the stainless steel rusts easier or something. i could be wrong though.

Works best with dohc vtec engines. On sohc non-vtecs, a 4-2-1 is the only way to go.

neither will rust. Actually, the ceramic one has more of a chance of rusting cause there is a chance of the coating coming off, but that is so slight. The ceramic will also stay a little bit cooler than the stainless. Stainless is just for looks IMO.

Ceramic has higher resistance to heat compared to stainless steel thus keeping engine bay cooler.
