Hello i have 4 questions

Hello i am new to the Skyline world and i have a few questions

1) Since there are certain custom laws/epa/DOT regulations, and i wanted to have a Skyline imported over here, couldnt I jus have it ported to mexico??? and jus fly down there and drive it into the country and AMTRAK It to my destination?? and then have a few mechanics make it street legal? then register it?

2) If question number 1 is impossible legally then what is the runnin price for a Skyline GT-R34 VSPEC II if i were to buy it from Motorex and or RBMotoring?

3) What is the financial ways about paying these companys? IE: All money upfront? or are there payment plans?

4) If there are payment plans would you take a 2004 F-150 4x4 Lariat and 17k US$ as a down payment for the total Overhead Cost of the Car?

***EDIT***
How come if i were to buy a Ferrari i could have it at my FrontDoor in less then a week and being Emission Legal/Crash Legal and all that but Motorex to import/legalize a skyline takes 9 months?? isnt that pretty slow and not very business like??

(not meant to be shit talking jus askin questions)

Getting the car imported yourself is very expensive, whether the car goes to Mexico or the US. In the US, you have to put up 450% of the car's value for bonding and insurance. Not sure if Mexico has that or not. Transporting it by train takes even more money. Motorex would probably be cheaper in the long run. As long as your 'few mechanics' happen to be from Motorex, everything is cool.

Check their websites for stock lists. Currently, R34s cannot be legalized.

Last I heard, it depended on where you lived. I think you had to live in Cali in order to get a bank loan. Can't remember everything. This should be in the stickies, though.

I don't think Motorex/RB Motoring take trade ins, even if that did cover the cost of the car. I know I wouldn't.

The Ferrari is legal because it is already built in compliance with US specs.

Motorex actually does work on the car to legalize it. Many parts have to be replaced to bring the Skylines into compliance. That's their business.
