Lancia LC2 1/24 Colorado

Hello Everyone!

This is my last finished model.
Is the Lancia LC2 from Colorado with decal Carpena. Is similar to the Protar model.

I hope you enjoy the pictures.

My best regards.

Not sure about fat panel lines, but nice result on a difficult kit...

Hi Pedro,

Great job with a difficult model! I've been fiddling with one for years, on and off..

Can you tell us more about this kit? Does Colorado Decals produce it? Is it recent? Does it contain one plastic model and two decals sheets? How many were made? Where can one buy it? What's the price? Etcetera

Thanks in advance!

Rob

Re: Lancia LC2 1/24 Colorado

Hello everyone, Thanks for your comments!

Robdebie, This kit cames with one model and two decal sheets (one of Totip and other of Martini).
In general the kit is a very big challenge, the pieces don't fit properly and the decals are not so easy to aply, they are hard and break very easy.
I bought it in a local store in 2003 and paid 28€ for it.
Today is a very rare kit and i think is very dificult to find one in mint conditions. Maybe is more easy to find one in Ebay...

My best regards to all.

Looks good for a very rare car.The only thing are the belt closet.
They are way too big.Selfmade?

Next time try some aftermarket belts. They will look way better.
regards Christian

the fittings of seat belts are selfmade, it was the first time i tried to reproduce them.
In the current project i made the same parts but this time they are much better.
