Question How HIGH can you go


I can hit past the 125 mark too...

Is there anything I can do to keep the engine from exploding?
Ive been running it like this and higher for over a year now and its still running strong...

Dont know what the redline is on the 91 civic DX (didnt have one in it)....
That is a console out of a CRX... If you look close enough you can see the white gap between the console...

If it is redlining at 5K that is an HF console I think.

if you have a DX, and the d15b2, your true redline is about 6250, with a fuel cutoff at 6600 I think.

I have a D15b2, it doesn't hit the rev limiter till 7200, I don't know about fuel cut off. Very seldom I actually rev it that high, I was just curious one day and stepped on it.

Yeah DX is 7200, maybe you are thinking B1 from the STD is has a 6250 redline.

Hey when you all keep saying Fuel Cutoff... does that mean that your car isnt getting any fuel... therefore you cant go any faster???

Just wondering because i can get my needle to go past the 125MPH mark easy...

Hummm... how should i explain this one... MILITARY... yup thats why im using MPH... it has KPH too... I just thought it would be easier to say MPH then say 200KPH... Besides i hardly look at the speedo when im driving... Autobahn...
