Can't get battery light and CEL to shut off
-1999 Chrysler Concorde LXI 3.2L
My check engine light and battery light came on a couple months back, and now I need the CEL off to pass emissions. I've checked the codes and it comes up with a p1493/ Ambient Temp Sensor-voltage too low. The car runs absolutely fine and has never given me a problem starting. The only other symptom is the overhead display doesn't show temp, it says OC, which I imagine means open circuit. I tried replacing the temp sensor already and that don't do it. I've done a whole lot of googling and found no help. Anyone have a good idea? |
