1993 Monte Carlo Celica - Kankkunen
Another Hobbylink Japan model finished up. This time it was the '93 Celica piloted by Juha Kankkunen. It was a kit I made when I was young so I wanted to have another go and do it some justice.
Everything went together very well, the horrific decals turned out to not be so horrific, although they did not like being moved much once put onto the painted body. All in all, no real issues, a fun kit which is a great example of the superb Group A rally cars of the 1990s. Comments welcome as always! Very nice job on one of my favourite cars from the 90's. Not a criticism, but the rear and front lights should have a black edge and also the number plate section should be black and there is a black area on the side of the front spot lights. Probably too late to change now, so no big problem..
