Yamaha YZR M1 Camel 2006

This will be my new project, after making the Honda. Is the Yamaha YZR-M1 in 2006, piloted by Valentino. I will use various accessories TopStudio, T2M, as well as the transkit Studio27 kit and rain Geronimo.

This is the kit used.

I intend to leave it that way.

Here all the accessories that form part of the kit.

And finally, user of this model from Minichamps Valentino Rossi, when they pray before leaving the pit lane.

Let the differences between the models 2005 and 2006.

Front fairing.

Side fairing.

Fuel tank.

Exhaust

Protection bracket.

Clutch cover, the right is 2006, and left in 2005.

Here's tires Gerônimo being embedded in the wheels.

Starting closing balance Motorcycle

My idea is to do as in the photo, while the motorcycle in startbox Valentino makes his prayer.

Building the startbox

The engine almost ready

My delay in posting is because I decided to build M1 three at once, beyond 2006, will also make the
U.S. 2005 and 2009.
Here the engine of 2005, which is practically the same as 2006, only a few pieces difierentes color.

2009

Here the three scales ready

2005

2006

2009

Here the difference between the balance of 2005/2006 and 2009, notice that the balance of 2009 is slightly larger.

Rear bumpers.

In the model of 2009, I decided to drill the air box, because I'll leave it exposed.

Re: Yamaha YZR M1 Camel 2006

Installing the engine under the 2009 model.

Here, rossi helmet ready.

I decided to make the buckles of the helmet.

In the rear wheel band decided to make that extra soft white tire, I think it was pretty cool.

This was the material used to make the track.

Here, as is becoming the model startbox 2006.

Here stands.

With the wheels in blue, 2009 model with the wheels and red 2005 model.

Parts of the cowling of the 2009 model, ready.

Re: Yamaha YZR M1 Camel 2006

Nice work Sandro - love the helmet - do you have dimensions for the rear wheel starter box?? can you send them to me or post them?? Also like the detail off the "soft" tire selection. The white needs to be toned down a little though. Also the decal work on the helmet was excellent - it's difficult to get those decals to work well. Good pictures too. Keep up with the pictures and the postings - John

Re: Yamaha YZR M1 Camel 2006

To finish the StatBox, I had to enlist the help of a friend who made the tires on a mini lathe.
