no power windows, fuse hot
2000 century. All windows not working. Fuse 30 amp is blazing hot. Now what?

I do not know what is going on. This am I was going to check the ground and for whatever reason all windows work again. The only thing I can think of is that I had gps in cigarette lighter, maybe that caused it? Not on same fuse though. ????

Make sure it is the correct amp fuse in the location.

Its a 30 amp CB I guess and yes that is what is supposed to be in there. I exchanged with the one next to it and that one gets hot also when in thr spot for the windows. Will have to check if it still gets as hot now the windows works again...

sounds like somehow that wire is always pulling power. Maybe a short that is not bad enough to pop that 30a fuse.
