Nice. I'll keep an eye on this build. I've been wanting to pick one up for quite a while, glad I didn't drop $59 for it on Ebay, now that it's been re-released for around $29.

Once I pick one up, I want to make it a shop/chase truck. I've got Revell/Monogram trailer kit and AMTs older Scirocco kit w/the wide race fenders. (Ha. I can see it in my head, reality though, I have very little time for major builds...) I can dream though. I look forward to your progress...Keep it up...

 You're going for uncommon modifications (square headlights) but I'm interested to see what it will look like. I'll keep an eye on it

not too much. i've been busy doing this (not finished yet) http://www.maxituning.es:8080/foro/f...-03-12-t22192/ , if you are interested I can send you a pm when new updates, when it's finished will sell a resin transkt with the bumpers, side skirts, wheels and grill.
