If you are good at puzzles, I've got a good one for ya
Hey guys,gals. I've got this 94 s15 Jimmy with the 4.3w vortec,problem is she don't want to start. I changed the fuel pump,icm,plugs,wires,cap,starter,fuel filter. Anyway...it cranks over,can here the pump,has spark, just no boom. But..when I put the battery charger on it at 40amps, she comes to life with a little flick of the key.?? Lol. I'm getting very frustrated with this. And yes I just put a new battery in it. Is there anyone on here that can help me. Please. I will take any advice I can get. Thanks In advance

Sounds like a problem with not enough current to the fuel pump, or the fuel pump itself. Check fuel pressure and leakdown at the service port near the distributor. Key ON, engine OFF, fuel pump running: Pressure must be 55psi to 61psi and must remain above 50psi for 3 to 5 minutes after the pump shuts off.
