Question ABS and wheel speed sensor

I've been having problems with the low speed activation of my ABS in my '07 Silverado Classic (2WD). So I checked the AC voltage as described in several GM service bulletins and find that both voltages are below spec. (Min, 350mv AC when wheel is spun clockwise at 1 revolution per sec. min).

So i pull out the sensors to check for rust, dirt and grease on the pickup. Nothing found. I peer down into each hole and I can see the ABS "teeth" but all appears normal.

I replace everything and now my ABS light on the dash is on, BUT, but my low ABS activation is solved.

Should I just replace both wheel speed sensors?

thanks,

RPG

what voltage did you get ?

since you now get the ABS LT ON I would guess you broke one or both sensors when removing..was the sensors rusted in place.. was the mounting surface rusted ?? these sensors normally do not fail..

wires get damaged from improper routing as well. make sure the connector is correct.

low speed abs activation is caused by rust pushing out the sensor from its proper position or with 4WD a bad and or rusted hub bearing...
