Chevy engine swap. Out with points and in with electronic ignition?
I have a 1973 chevy el Camino and the original 350 engine with points ignition took a poop and I want to put in a 1975 350 with electronic ignition. What has to be done to fulfill this task? Will there be any major issues? Thanks in advance.

Good idea to install a new dist gear on dist shaft at same time. The old point dist was wired threw a resister wire form ign run and starter solenoid 12 volt start. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
