P1495, found the leak, but CEL still on!
Ok, I am new here in the forum, but very much a Mitsubishi enthusiast. I need yalls help, i just bought my second eclipse gs and am trying to work out the problems, and get a tag, but i have a p1495 code, and i found a unpluged vac line, pluged it in and still have a the CEL. im not sure what to do. I've reset the car several times, and rode awhile, then released pressure off gas cap, still nothing. any advice to what to try next. car was idling high at start up and reving up on its own when clutch was disengaged until I found and pluged the vac in, now is idling fine at about 800 to 900.

Re: P1495, found the leak, but CEL still on!
I've never heard of a smoke test, what is it, and how do you go about doing it? last night i took off the front clip and jacked the car up, and inspected all the vac lines and all but one looked good, and that one only had a bad three inch section that was rusted, but still didnt have any holes or noticable problems.
