Exclamation

Let's hurry up and get someone to start a Radar Detector group buy. Something good... We gotta hurry or else more maxima drivers will be wasting there money on something they could be using for his/her car. I think it's a good investment... if the detector is good.

Much agreed, from what I've read the V1 is the only real way to go. However, it's $300 more than the cheap ones.

yep it is the best ...but i think in the long run it will save you alot of $$$$$... my brother has one in his car and when i take his car out (once in awhile) I speed like a bat out of hell B/C he's got a bad ass car anyways back to the point it's saved my ass many a times ....And i promise you it WORKS . So just invest a little bit more now and save your self some money in the long run

Valentine Ones will NEVER be on sale nor a group buy.
been there. done that.

Mike Valentine says "well. we're the best. if you want a cheaper one, then buy something less superior."

well. im paraphrasing it for him. but that's his jist.

About the valentine, does the radar alert you when there is a patrol car every single time or only when the patrol car has its radar/laser gun on? I have the cobra 9200 voice alrt. It has worked to, but then sometimes i see cops on the side of the fwy and it doesnt detect cops. Thanks

when ever they have it on ...Thats the only time or when they hit someone infront or behind you . It really is worth 400 bones it saved me so many times . Like if the cop doesnt have a radar detector or it on it wont pick it up .

but if a cop doesn't have his radar gun on he doesn't know how fast you are going...it's not like cops have something special in their cars that constantly sends out a frequency just so we can pick them up on our detectors...lots of people w/ detectors use it as a false sense of security...you still have to keep your eyes wide open...whenever i am speeding i always check my rearview every few seconds because a cop can always tail you to get your speed rather than radar you

but remember, a cop pulls you over for speeding and sees a radar detecotr, consider it an instant ticket
