Pair of Lotii! 98T and 99T
I'm well into my quest of building all 11 of Senna's cars. Here are #5 and #6. Built OOB, except for slight mods to the 98T and the JPS decals. Paint is Tamiya TS, right out of the can. Build time for each car, about 3 days.

Re: Pair of Lotii! 98T and 99T
Darn. Only 3 days per car?
Amazing. If only I could manage 3 years for a car. Heheh. I think those models look perfect for such quick builds. I mean, you could have told you'd been working 3 months on them and I'd believe it. Great work! |

Hi, very nice build!
Where did you get the 98T? |

Re: Pair of Lotii! 98T and 99T
The 98T is actually just a 99T with some slight mods. I reshaped the front wing endplates a little, added analog gauges in the instrument cluster, and that's it! The only other difference was the decals.

Re: Pair of Lotii! 98T and 99T
OK, thanks for the info.
Is there any "original" detailed 98T to get? There is one from MfH, but that one is curbside, I would like to have a model with engine detail which I do not have to scratchbuild ![]() Edit: I just found this: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10114825 Although the images show the kit has an engine, the description says engineless. What is correct? |
