93 civic broken valve cover
Long story short, the last mechanic that did work in my car and removed my valve cover forgot to unscrew a bolt, and broke not the remaining bolt but the thread it goes into. Now all the bolts are tightened expect the one. Am I in danger? Oil seepage is somewhat present. The valve cover is fine, it's the part that the valve cover attaches to that has a busted bolt thread. I have no knowledge if auto repairs so I am at the mercy of all thieving mechanics.... Someone please HELLLLLP

Re: 93 civic broken valve cover
first all mechanics ARE NOT thieves
not sure but sounds like he cracked the block edge you can try removing v/cover & put a heavy bead of silacone in that area replacing v/cover gasket if not new already
