hobby shops in Phoenix

Hello fellow modelers,
I'm going to the Nascar race in Nov and was wondering if anyone has any hobby shops they can recommend. I was hoping for something with detail/paints.
Thanks in advance

Re: hobby shops in Phoenix

I was in Phoenix/Tempe in April and found this place to be pretty good:
http://www.thehobbydepot.com/

They even gave me an out-of-town visitor's discount.

That is a good accurate list. I am a Cactus car Model member. Thank you for coming to the DSC 2010. We all sure hope you enjoyed the day. Hopefully you took home a trophy or two. We will soon be getting geared up for 2011. Are you coming back?
