2003 Airbag light flashing

I had the passenger seat disconnected as well as the battery. The battery was reconnected before the seat wiring and the airbag light was flashing when the key was turned on. I disconnected the battery for about 20 min and reconnected but the light is still flashing. I performed the door button pressing procedure to reset the airbag but still no luck. I did it againagain pressing it 6, 7 and even 10 times and the horn tooted, the wipers operated and I think the radio lights flashed. What have I done? Still the airbag light flashes. I can't imagine there's any wrong with the seat airbag, I just disconnected the plugs and pulled the seat out to do some repairs on the floor.
