Question 85 Camaro all Digital

Hi
Picked up an 85 Camaro Berlinetta for my son for transportation. Aside from numerous repairs car has 4bbl carb, set at fast idle, redid carb, now can get idle but has major flat spot in acceleration. Any hints as to problem would be appreciated. Looking for a good publication that would include vacuum diagrams etc.

It's an 85 berlinetta...it's GONNA be flat in acceleration. Check your timing and make sure the secondaries open up all the way. As long as the brake booster pump is connected to the upper vacuum and all the other vacuum nipples are either plugged or have an accessory attached then you should be fine there.

It's just an old car with an equally old engine... best bet is to completely rebuild the engine if nothing else works. Might be just worn out.
