B16a distributor and ECU

Hello there

I want to use a p30 ecu (OBD1) on my first gen B16A (OBD0) but I herad that I need to change my distributor for some p30 compatible, is that Right?? Why??

Has a jumper, but you still need to do some wiring to make it work, distributor, VSS, o2, thermostat housing need to be replaced to make the OBD I work.
