Versatrak groaning

2006 Versatrak makes groaning sound when turing sharply in circles.

I have heard that replacing the fluid may help stop the noise, but it is very expensive and Buick said they replace the fluid in the rear end and also in the transfer case, it is very expensive fluid. I only want to stop the noise so can i jsut replace the rearend fuid and not the tranfer casee fluid?

Welcome to AF. No!!!! Plus this may not fix it anyway, there is a TSB referring to this issue, changing the fluid is step one.
