The vehicle weighs 7,800 pounds... that is almost the same as four Honda Civics!!! So I'm interested in times y'all can do.

January of 2002 I got my first Suburban that I could call my own...
It is a 2002 Z71 series. After putting in a K&N stock replacement filter I took it to the track to get a base point before I spend to much time/money ..... (I want to know what effects each change makes) After about six runs my best time was 16.7 at 85mph... That is pretty good for a car that can also go anywhere and through anything.,.... Sence going to the track last year I have put a large cone filter in, changed the plugs to Platnum4s, and am getting a FlowMax muffler to replace the stock muffler.... (All stock piping will remain) I have also made a ton of mods for asthetic purposes..... I really want to get a Whipple Supercharger..... There is one guy that runs a Chevy SUV that gets ~13.0sec 1/4.... So, there are your numbers for the 1/4 mile.... I will post the time sheets if any one wants to see..... I will also update you after my trip this week!!! first time back this season!!! :sun: |
