2002 Z24 Cranks but won't start

Hello all,

I'm new to this forum so I'd like to introduce myself and ask a question.

I am hoping someone out there can point me in the right direction to get our car to start and run again.

The car is a 2002 Z24 with a 2.4L engine. Car has always started and ran just fine this is the first sign of any problem with it.

I have already replaced the spark plugs and air filter as part of a tune-up.

The car ran fine no problems at all. No loss of power. Got home and parked it, shut it off and the next time (and every time since) we tried to start it, all it does is crank. I can hear the tell tale hum of the fuel pump so I believe this to be working.

I've searched this forum but haven't found much at this point.
There were and are no logged error codes.

Can anyone out there give me an idea how to test for spark and fuel on this car? the plugs are between the cams below a cover so it's not like I can just test it like I do on cars with standard plug wires. After that, can anyone out there tell me how to verify fuel and pressure?
I've read things that could be pcm, crank or cam sensors. At this point I just want to test for fuel and spark to start.

Any and all assistance to get this car back up and running is much appreciated.
