Custom made cold air intake :D

O.k. so I got this crazy idea to make something of my car. Well I took the plastic bubble that's underneath bumper. You know that big black thing that's "supposed" to draw in air. Well I removed that and stuck a cardboard box that sort of hangs down. If you look in my illustration I have the cardboard box hang down so it will draw all the air and shoot it up into the rubber elbow then into the air box. Sort of a ghetto ram air but not The cardboard test worked good but it's raining right now so it kind of ruined it. But I'm in the works of makin a plastic one.

Here's the pic:

someone wanted to see a pic of my friends set up. It is kinda like that except he kept the stock lower piece and just cut a hole on the bottom of it and screwed a little air vent under the car..so yeah kinda like a ram air!

Ask him if he feels any power increase. I tried to make a few laps but the rain held me back

Ok, I'll try a black sock, and I'll tell you if it's any better.
